So sad that I decided to do something about it: I took all the research I could find on happiness and packaged it into this course in an easily digestible format. This course is not all about theory - I’ll leave that to the researchers. This is full of practical stuff that you can apply to your own life, so that you can actually achieve greater happiness and find joy in living.

Emotional health is the pillar of wellbeing - and the key to our happiness. You can eat the best foods on the planet and exercise every day; but if your feelings and emotions are not how they should be you will not be happy, or healthy for that matter. I learned this the hard way – but you don’t have to.

I have developed "Your Guide to Happiness" not just on the basis of my studies into wellbeing and happiness, but also on what I’ve learnt throughout my personal life.

I’ve had a great life and lots of wonderful experiences – I’ve lived in five countries so far. But it wasn’t always easy… Life could’ve broken me so many times, and I could’ve given up so many times – but I never did. 

I’m one of the happiest people you will ever meet, and I genuinely love life with all its ups and downs. ‘How is that possible?’ – I’ve been asked this question many times. Gabriella Ignacz

Gabriella Ignácz (MA, MSc) is a wellbeing educator, blogger, and author. She was born in Hungary and travelled extensively through her work and studies. Her love of travelling started when she was 16 and received a scholarship to attend a high school in the US. She was one of the young minds from post-communist countries given this scholarship with the aim to gain exposure to Western values.Gabriella started her career as an English teacher after completing a masters in English Literature and Linguistics. Her love of food and dining later resulted in a career swap for the hospitality industry and she spent two years living and working in Cyprus. She then moved to the UK to pursue a degree in hospitality and completed a masters in Food and Wellbeing at the University of Brighton. Gabriella believes in life-long learning; but her appetite for fun is just as big as her appetite for knowledge.
